Started Week 6 and Stopping to Admire the Roses

Well today I started Week 6 of the C2K training program.  Nothing exciting to report, except that I was really tired today, for whatever reason, and my feet felt like I had bricks strapped to them. I am glad that the program only called for a short...
5 min warm up walk
jog 5 min
walk 3
jog 8 min
walk 3
jog 5 min
walk 5 cool down.
That was enough for me today.

When I got home from the gym  this morning, I went out in the yard to take some pics of my flowers.  I LOVE the way flowers look, and wish my yard was full of them, but I HATE to garden!!! I know there are people out there who love it and find it therapeutic, I am just NOT one of them.  I have always been one of those people who likes to stop and smell admire the flowers, I say admire because I was born with NO sense of smell {yes it's weird, yes I can still taste things, yes I've seen several Dr's, yes several treatments were attempted to help me be able to smell-nothing worked, NO there is nothing medically wrong with me.} But this has never stopped me from appreciating the beauty of nature.  As a matter of fact, sometimes I wonder if it hasn't made me more aware.  I tend to find myself stopping to marvel at all kinds of odd things, especially in nature!! Which is part of why I hate walking/jogging on that treadmill, nothing to see!!!  Anyway, thought you might enjoy a little look at what I stopped to admire today...

I am planning/hoping to spend my day getting a million pictures uploaded and ordered.  And if all goes well, start getting Project Life album caught up...
Then it's off to the fairgrounds with Maddy for the 4-H horse work sessions.
