So, Tuesday was yet
another epic fail!! I was tired
within my first 3 minute run, and had actual muscle cramps in my right calf.
What the heck is going on here?!?!?!
I've decided {yes, I realize there are no special letters like MD, following my name} that my iron is low, possibly very low. And I've not been
drinking enough water. Hard to imagine that you could really get dehydrated
from 30 minutes on the treadmill, 3 days a week, BUT my fat ass sweats
buckets!! So I've been trying to drink plenty of water, and we've had red meat
for supper for the last two nights. I'd
rather not take any iron supplements, becuz you gotta be careful about too much
iron too. So, as much as I'd like to
type some good news, about this {stupid ass} 5K training, I can't!!! Not yet
anyway, and somehow I'm certain that Thursdays training session isn't
going to be any better. But I can hope
and I will show up ready to run!!! I will do what I can and hopefully this
thing works its self out. Otherwise Week
4 may be the death of me!!
Thursday is going to be interesting… I will have to get up
by 4:45am to go to the gym. Get back
home, shower, and leave by 6:30. I have
to take my husband to the hospital, for a procedure, to stretch his esophagus. This is supposed to be a quick, go in, get it
done, go home, kind of thing. I hope it works out that way. I hope it helps him be able to eat again. He
has a condition called Eosinophilic Esophagitis, the short version is that he has rings of
scar tissue built up inside his esophagus, due to years of eating foods he is
allergic to. This procedure is something he's needed done for about a year now,
but was hoping that if he changed his diet, it would improve on its own. It did
not. So tomorrow they see if they can stretch things out a bit. He will still
have to maintain the allergy free diet for the rest of his life, but this is
meant to help him swallow better. Then
it's back to work for me. And after work, I will be heading off to a Camera
Club meeting/class. I am soooo freaking
bummed out that I was unable to complete this month's challenge. Which was,
quite possibly, my favorite challenge on the entire list. I think that I will try to do the challenge
anyway, at some point in the next month.
We'll see. I am so far behind on
everything else, I'll just add this to
my list. UGH!!!
I'm actually typing this post on Wednesday night, from Big
Air, which is a motocross track. My husband is riding, I came along to take
pictures but seem to be struggling with that task tonight too. I keep losing track of him on the track. He's got new gear, and boots, and a new bike,
so I can't completely blame my ADD issues. It's a bit hard to recognize
him.
Soooo to sum up things so far this
week… the training has sucked, I'm miles behind on everything. I have two huge blog posts started, that I
can't manage to find the time to finish, any pictures that I've had time to take have sucked. Yep!!!
Great week, so far!!! I keep telling myself things are bound to improve at any
moment!!!!
