I would love to tell you all that I had some wild, crazy, fun weekend, but that just wouldn't be true!! Did a little bit of shopping Saturday with Maddy, her friend Orion, and my friend Shelli.  Our first stop was Tom's Western Store, where Maddy got a few new things for riding season, new breeches, new jacket, and THE new   fake TAIL!!! She was soooo freaking excited to finally be buying a tail. Yes, I'm sure right now you are all thinking I've lost my mind or Maddy has!! If you didn't realize this, and I sure didn't until a few years ago, Yes, show horses wear fake tails!!! Not all, but a majority do. Last year Maddy worked really hard at keeping his tail bagged up and worked hard to get it looking good and by their first show, it did look pretty good!! But this year he has just been out in the pasture rubbing that thing on anything he can find!! His tail looks thin and is all broken off. She really had no choice this year.  His mane looks dreadful too!! You'd think if they sell fake tails they'd have something for manes too, but she will do what she can to get that in back in shape!!!

After Tom's we went to the Meridian Mall in Lansing.  I only planned to buy a few bras BUT I also got a cute new Fox Racing purse{on sale!} from Pac Sun {yes, I will be THE coolest wife/mom at the motorcross track} and a couple of T-shirts from Defye, love that store!! Grossly overpriced but created, and manufactured right here in the USA, AND it's super cool ~that makes it worth buying the stuff. The creator of the chain, and the stuff they sell was at the store Saturday, which is weird cuz Tallon met him at the store a couple of weeks ago, so I wonder if he's originally from around here or if he's just in town, or if every store has a hot guy who hangs out, saying he's the creator ~as a promo, to sell more stuff!!!

theBoys had band practice on Saturday and Sunday they went to a race track called Baja Acres. Maddy went to the barn. I stayed home and read ALL day!!!!

Started it Friday, finished it Sunday.
 Good book.
 Now I can go see the movie, gotta find me a hot date first

And that about covers the weekend. I'm gonna have to clean like crazy tomorrow, on my day off, to catch up on what I DIDN'T do over the weekend, but oh well!!!

Later today I will work on posting the Resolution recap, cuz I got some BIG, okay maybe just big, oh alright small {and probly not even really all that interesting} news about ONE of the BIG resolutions!!! So be sure to stop by again tomorrow...YEah suspenseful...
