After a much needed semester off, my daughter is back to college, this month. When she moved back home, and decided to take some time off, we were supportive of her decision, the only problem is, she got packed into the very tiny, tiniest bedroom in the house. And a storage space had to be rented for all her furniture. She hasn't complained, except occasionally when Stella {the 1 1/2yr old dog, who has yet to outgrow her need to chew} busts in and eats things!!! Going to school means studying, and studying means having a place to study. Oh, did I mention, she plans to continue living at home. So, now we do have a problem, not with her living here, but with WHERE she is going to be able to study!!! The only solutions we could come up with were:
A. move my studio back down to the tiny room
B. move her desk into my studio
I feel a bit selfish doing this, but moving her into my studio was a much easier solution than moving an entire studio!!! So this weekend, we make some changes to The Studio!!
That's #1 on the ToDo List.
After that has been accomplished, I will be taking down ALL the Christmas decorations!!
My husband is "On Call" this weekend and the weather is supposed to be brutal cold, so odds are he'll be working over the weekend, keeping people's furnaces running. That means it's not likely we will do anything fun!!
