When I was getting ready to wrap gifts for Christmas this year, I decided that maybe I should take some time and attempt to organize the crazy mess, my wrapping supplies had become.

| BEFORE |
The ONLY good thing was that MOST of the wrapping was in the proper buckets. But the rest of it, was a crazy mixed up mess. So I went to the basement and retrieved one of the empty plastic drawer organizer thingys. I then set about sorting all that crap. I tossed a bunch. Put like things in drawers together.

Seriously... There were at least a dozen, partially used rolls of tape!!! Didn't need to buy any this year!! |
| Gift tags. |
Ribbon Okay, the ribbon is still a bit of a mess, but it's in the drawer! |
| Bows |
| Tissue paper |
| Little boxes, tins and big spools of ribbon |
| gift bags |
Boxes and gift bags too big for the drawers went in a sturdy box at least until I get a bucket for them |
AFTER I didn't feel the need to label each drawer, cuz you can see through the plastic and it's good enough for me!!! Nice and organized, and back into the attic!!! Ready for the next time I need to wrap a gift!!! |
My dishes are never done {unless my daughter is home and does them!} I can't cook. There's always dirty laundry. But my wrapping supplies are organized. And for some crazy reason, this seemed more important than actually wrapping the Christmas gifts!!! In the Ultimate Perfect Universe, I would buy buckets, containers and boxes for organizing all my Holiday stuff. In that Ultimate Perfect Universe I would buy tons of containers and organize every cupboard, nook, and cranny in my house. FOR REAL. Have you ever noticed how expensive that stuff is though!!! crazy!!! I like to organize and yet my life is a complete disaster!!! Ironic. Oh, I like to play Tetris too.
