Here's To Starting 2014 on the Right Track

One of my goals for 2014 is "COMMIT to being more organized".  Sounds easy enough, right?!?!?! Hah!!  Well, for me that all starts with a new planner for the year. I love planners!!!  If I had an important job, that required carrying one all the time, I'd be soooo thrilled by that, and I'd buy fancy expensive planners!!! But since I don't, I usually just buy something smaller and cute. This year I went a little bit bigger, but still stuck with inexpensive. It works just fine, and why invest a ton of money, when, let's be honest, my life isn't sooooo thrilling that it requires anything bigger/better. But I also decided that I'd like to incorporate ALL of the stuff I do into one place.

These are the sections, I decided I needed:

Calendar
Notes
Fitness
Finance
Projects DIY
Projects Household
Blog

This book is actually a 3-ring binder I found at Staples. I used the cheap, Franklin "knock off" brand of planner pages {Staples}. Most of my section dividers are from the Martha Stewart line {Staples}the others are just Mead dividers.
I've used plastic pouch things to hold sticky notes, and other misc.
Ready for a tour...

Looking pretty empty right now.

Divided sections

Ink discount card/ink cartridge number card
Yes, that is a really old picture of my daughter and I!!!
It's always been in my planner, not sure why, but I keep it there!
I like it!!

The one thing I dislike about this planner is that I have no specific place for my pen/pencils. But I'll figure that out, I'm sure.  It fits in my purse. It didn't cost a small fortune. Hopefully I will use it every day!!!!

Starting off 2014 organized and ready!!!! Now, if I can just stay that way!!!!
