So this weekend we have some pretty BIG, out of my comfort zone, interesting, and happy plans!!! Tonight, get groceries, do a little shopping {for the other BIG events} maybe eat out. Then comes Saturday, it's up early and off to the gym, with Maddy. Then we have to run out and pick up some helium balloons, a few extra plates and napkins, deliver said items, home and shower. Then we are off to a baby shower for a friend who just adopted a baby. ~happy plans! After the baby shower Ryan and I are going, with his parents, to a BIG Fundraiser Dinner for the local airport, who will be putting on a huge air show this Summer. ~BIG, out of my comfort zone plans! This is a fancy dinner/fundraiser with most likely the "who's who" of this {sometimes snobby}little town, and several other towns. Now this is WAY out of my comfort zone!!! Not only are we NOT the "who's who" but I certainly do NOT fit in with them!! Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty glad I don't fit in! I'm pretty happy with my little life. I have never {and refuse to start now} cared what anyone else thinks about me, so that part is easy. The problem is that, I HATE when people behave in a "I'm better than others, I have money" kind of manner. So the interesting part will be me keeping my BIG mouth shut if said occasion arises. OH and I will have to keep my swear like a sailor mouth in check, and my filthy dirty mind out of the gutter, and my twisted sense of humor in check! That's a lot to ask of a girl like me!!! And you know what else this all means... This dinner is gonna be BORING!! At least Ryan's parents will be there, and I have a friend and her husband who are also going. The tickets were expensive, and they have drawings all night, the grand prize is $10,000 so we WILL be going! Did I also mention that SATURDAY JANUARY 21, IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! Tell me that $10,000. wouldn't be a great birthday gift!?!?!?!?!
We will see what Sunday brings... possibly cleaning house and the garage. Another trip to the gym. Sleeping off a huge birthday hang over...
