****FYI~ Sometimes I worry about blogging/sharing pics here that I've already posted on Facebook, cuz I think most of you already follow me on Facebook and I don't want to bore you to tears. But for the 2-3 readers who don't I want you to read about my exciting life so I'm posting this story here also!****
Last weekend I got to pretend to be a
real photographer and took a bunch of pics of my niece Kiri's twin girls, who were about a month old. I will never claim to have the skills of a real photographer. I stole all my ideas form Pinterest. I have no lighting or backdrops. We made do with what I do have. It ended up being WAY more work than I thought it would be, I got peed on, puked on, and there was crying but it was FUN. And the pics turned out better than I thought they would. Kiri has an Aunt Tammy, who knits awesome stuff, and she made her really cute outfits for the baby shower. Kiri had asked her aunt to make these cute pumpkin hats that I'd seen on facebook. Kiri knew her aunt was busy with her sons wedding and her own stuff, and wasn't sure she'd actually have time. I had a friends, mom offer to make the hats, too, so we ended up with 2 sets of hats, but that's okay, they looked different and we made it work. I'm so grateful to both of them for the awesome stuff they made. Here are a few of the pics we got.
There you have it!! Even if the pics aren't perfect, those are some CUTE babies!!! And I hope Kiri is happy with the pics we managed to get.
