SHIT's ABOUT TO GET REAL

Soooo I woke up this morning and with the wind chill it was about 1 degree Outside. Decided this would obviously require multiple layers, to stay warm. Extra shirt, warm sweater, and leggings UNDER my jeans, which barely happened!!!  Yeah, a few too many Monster Cookies have been eaten, so just so everyone knows and for accountability I'm saying it out loud here...

This madness must stop, I need to get back to the gym, not just spinning 3 days a week, but weight training as well. I need to make healthy eating choices!!! It stops now! Or starts! Or both!

Pumpkin Patch

Every year we make that pilgrimage to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out the very best pumpkins we can find. Maddy and I consider this a really big deal. It's important to find just the right ones. I mean becoming a Jack-o-lantern is very serious business, protecting the household from the evil spirits, and all. We always come home with WAY more pumpkins than we really need, but FAR less pumpkins than we really want. We work hard narrowing down the choices, we discuss pro's & cons of almost every pumpkin in the patch and who would make the best tall, stubby, or decorative Jack o-lanterns and then load up our favorites. Ryan & I had a 2.5 day weekend and camped at the track
it's the final race of the season, and Halloween weekend.
We ate dinner at Tony's restaurant in Birch Run, yep that's a pound of
bacon on each sandwich, we had leftovers for days!!!

Maddy came, mostly becuz on Saturday night the kids at the track
all dress up in their costumes and go camper to camper to
Trick-or-Treat!!! They have a hay ride and bonfire too.
We dressed the dogs up.

Stella went Trick-or-Treating as Seabiscuit, the Horse with a jockey
saddled to her back!!! She LOVED it!!!! She pranced around and LOVED
seeing all the kids in costumes. I was worried she'd be scared,
 but she wasn't one bit. 

Ali, was a camera shy zebra, and she did NOT love it!!

I'm pretty sure that Stella's favorite place to be is at the track!
Race season is officially over. 

First time I've ever seen a real live walking stick, up close!
