the Kitchen

Started painting the kitchen this past weekend. Sure, it's been at least a month since I did the entryway, and I've had 2 gallon jugs of paint sitting under the kitchen table all this time, but I'm busy okay!! Or lazy. Either way, it's done.  And I thought I could get away with leaving the bottom half a dark color, but now I'm pretty sure I dislike it, and will probably be painting it too. We'll see. Maybe in another month or so...

BEFORE:

Maddy, my roomie (or daughter who still lives at home) helped out!! 

Yes! That ugly curtain went in the trash too!!! 

AFTER:

There is no artwork on the walls yet, and no replacement curtain. We're just gonna live in it for a bit and see what we feel like putting back up. 

That moment when the dog wakes you at 6:30, to poop, so you walk her in the rain until she has pooped and has smelled every possible square inch of the yard. You figure the hubby is probably getting up soon, so you kill some time, make protein bars for the week, do dishes, take your Motivate (pre workout) eat, make some coffee, surf the Internet. And they're ALL snoring away!!! 

Maybe I'm going to the gym alone!!! 

Got a new/used stove this week! This may not seem that exciting to most people but the old stove was literally built in like 1950-ish (it still works, the thing is a tank).

The new one has 5 burners, wtf am I going to do with 5 burners, I can't even manage 2!!! 

There's a window in the door! And a light inside!!! It's the little things...

It might actually be too nice for my kitchen! 

The ONLY thing better than Victoria Secrets sport tights is SALE Victoria Secrets tights!!!! 

I may have become a tights snob, but these things are seriously THE bomb!! 

Between this stupid sickness, and the cold, gloomy rainy weather I just wanna stay in my jammies and curl up in a ball under some warm blankets! Come on Mother Nature, I'm ready for Spring!!!

It's moments like this, I'm glad I'm sleeping with an HVAC Tech!!!

It was a bit chilly in our house this morning and it appears... This appears to be, not working!

This is Only a Test

When it comes to blogging, I'm about as reliable as... I don't know what, what's something that's really really unreliable?!?!? 

I'm going to test a little something out here, over the next week or so, that MIGHT turn into me blogging way more reliably. 

I'm not telling anyone about it just yet, cuz I don't want to be a disappointment again!
